What You Don’t Know About Being a Princess at Walt Disney World

5. Exceptional Improvisation

I already mentioned that princesses need to (basically) memorize their movies, but their ability to think on the spot in general, cannot be understated. If a sassier child challenges whether a princess is “real” or asks them any difficult questions, they must be able to divert with grace. Also, they must refrain from modern slang and always find a way to redirect a conversation if their immediate answer to anything is “I don’t know”. (Cast members are essentially forbidden to say the word “no”.) Breaking character is simply never an option.
