4 Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Night Safari: While this tour does take place at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, it does take place at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and the Animal Kingdom Villas. This tour takes you on an open-air safari vehicle. You will explore the savannah at night, which will introduce you to some amazing nocturnal behaviors. The tour provides each guest with night vision goggles for optimal viewing. The Night Safari costs $70 per person. This tour lasts for about an hour. A portion of this fee is donated to the Disney Conservation Fund, which helps conserve animals all around the world!

3. Tusker House Restaurant: Tusker House Restaurant is located in Africa at the colorful Harambe marketplace inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This character dinning experience allows you and your family to dine with safari Donald Duck and his friends while enjoying meals with an African influence. This restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meals can cost up to $60 per entrée for adults, so this is a splurge worthy dining experience. The characters are present at all meals and the food is delicious. We would recommend making a reservation in advance because of the popularity of the Tusker House.

2. Backstage Tales: Backstage Tales is a behind the scenes tour of Animal Kingdom that will allow you to tour the facilities where Disney cast members take care of over 1,500 animals. The cost of this tour is $90 per person. Some of the highlights of this tour include, visiting the animal nutrition center, seeing the backstage areas where animals live, and possibly a live animal encounter! This tour is not only educational, but will make you feel like you’ve seen a hidden side of the park. A portion of the cost is donated to the Disney Conservation Fund, which helps animals all around the world!

1. Wild Africa Trek: Wild Africa Trek at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a 3-hour safari that provides guests with perfect views of animals from inside the Safi River Valley.
