Where to Find the Fabulous 5 Around Walt Disney World Resort

Mickey Mouse

Character Meals

If you want close and personal encounters with the Fab 5 without waiting in line, then we have a solution for you! Booking character dining is an excellent method for getting photos in tandem with a delicious meal. Many restaurants offer this character meal option where a rotating selection of Disney friends visit each table for snapshots and autographs. Different restaurants offer different selections of characters, so if you want to meet Mickey and pals, you’ll need to do a little research. Some of the most popular choices are as follows: Chef Mickey’s at the Contemporary resort features a buffet with the Fab 5 in cooking attire.

Over at EPCOT, the mouse and his friends stroll around in farming outfits as guests enjoy meals from the farm-to-table menu at the Garden Grill. At the Beach Club Resort’s Cape May Café, guests can dine at a breakfast buffet while Minnie and company join in wearing their nautical gear. And last but not least, the Fab 5 can be found (in safari apparel) at the Animal Kingdom’s delectable Tusker House Restaurant buffet. After all, if you’re going to take the time out for a sit-down meal, why not do it with the coolest dinner companions!

Parades and Shows

There is no shortage of character entertainment in WDW. However; if you’re specifically looking for certain characters, here is where you can see them perform! On a daily basis in the Magic Kingdom, the Fab 5 wear royal ensembles and dance/sing in Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire at Cinderella Castle. And, these folks can be found riding opulent floats in the awe-inspiring Festival of Fantasy afternoon parade. Additionally, Animal Kingdom has recently debuted a new show featuring a beloved duck: Donald’s Dino-Bash! (Featuring comedy, colorful outfits, and fun prehistoric facts – dinosaur lovers shouldn’t miss this one!)

For the lucky ones who travel to WDW during holidays, the Fab 5 are heavily featured in seasonal entertainment too. Mickey’s Boo to You parade, The Once Upon a Christmas Time parade, and the Mickey’s Merriest Celebration show are all great places to see these characters in festive glory! (Granted, seasonal events are an additional cost. Yet, I’d argue that the experience is priceless.)
