Private Rides
It’s the little things that make a big difference. A no budget Disney vacation would mean no waiting for Disney transportation. Sure, most of the time hopping Disney transportation is fun and convenient but sometimes a private ride to the parks would be nice. Nearly every Disney Fanatic has memories of a late night waiting for a bus, boat or monorail to return you to your resort after park closing or a time you were caught in a Florida downpour awaiting transportation to arrive. Doing Disney with splurges means calling a Minnie Van, Lyft or Uber to deliver me to and from the front of the park at my leisure.
Lessons
Disney offers some pretty neat classes that enhance your vacation while letting you try something new. Taking surf lessons at Typhoon Lagoon, horseback riding or archery lessons at Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, golf lessons at Polynesian Village Resort, tennis lessons at Animal Kingdom Lodge and even pastry decorating classes at Amorette’s Patisserie are all options for Disney guests. Most of these classes are affordable but tend to feel like too much of a splurge for my typical Disney vacation budget.
Rentals
For those of us that love the Florida sun there is no better way to enjoy the day than on the water. Renting boats around Disney resorts would be a fun way to splurge on a vacation with an unlimited budget. Heading out for a fishing adventure at Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground or speeding around Bay Lake in a rental from Polynesian Village Resort would be an awesome way to experience something new at Walt Disney World.
