1. Toned-Down Theming

We mentioned before that Coronado Springs is not as flashy as the other Disney resorts. It’s true, the theming is way toned down in this hotel. However, for many people this is a goodthing.

You see, the Disney parks are colorful and loud, with something new demanding your attention around every corner. For this reason, we actually really appreciate the classy yet subdued theming of this restful haven. We assume we aren’t alone in this appreciation, and feel it’s a bonus worth mentioning.

2. Newly Renovated Rooms

As a part of a resort-wide upgrade, every single room in Coronado Springs Resort has been remodeled, and they look fabulous. If you like the feel of a fresh new room, look no further than this newly renovated hotel and its comfortable and well-appointed rooms.

From plush beds with brand new bedding to gorgeous new bathroom fixtures, these rooms have everything you could possibly want from a hotel and more.

3. Amazing Dining Options

One of the very best things about going to Disney World is the amazing food you get to enjoy. When you’re staying at Coronado Springs, you don’t even have to leave your hotel to find some.

From the snacks and beverages found at Barcelona and Dahlia Lounge, to the light fare found at Three Bridges Bar and Grill, Rix Sports Bar and Grill, and Cafe Rix, you’ll be all set for breakfast, lunch, and snacks.

When it comes to dinner, the American and Mexican-influenced food choices at the El Mercado de Coronado food court are an awesome quick option. Meanwhile, Maya Grill and the brand new Toledo – Tapas, Steak, and Seafood offer a more upscale dining experience.

While the rest of the hotel is only lightly themed, the pool at this Moderate Resort is themed to the nines and is absolutely fabulous. The swimming area is themed after an archeological dig site and includes a spitting jaguar slide, as well as a Mayan Pyramid.

Of course, the hot tub, kiddie pool, and dig site area are all nearby and wonderful as well.

5. Wonderful Health Center

While most of the spas at Disney World are located inside of the Deluxe Resorts, there is one option for those who prefer the affordability of the Moderate Resort but want the luxury of an onsite spa. La Vida Health Club is located in Coronado Springs Resort and offers plenty of fitness machines, as well as a fabulous spa offering all kinds of amazing treatments.

6. Gran Destino Tower

It isn’t opened just yet, but when it is, Gran Destino Tower will be yet another wonderful reason to choose Coronado Springs Resort.

This brand new building is set to open in July 2019 and will serve as the main entrance and centerpiece for the resort. It will hold a total of 545 new guest rooms and will offer gorgeous views of the surrounding area.

7. Affordable Pricing

Last but not least, we must mention the incredibly affordable pricing offered by this hotel.
