If you are looking for delicious food, a Walt Disney World vacation is perfect for you. In fact, your only food problem on a Disney vacation will be choosing between snacks. In this article, we are counting down the top ten iconic Disney foods that your family will love indulging in on your Walt Disney World vacation!
1. Mickey Waffles
I can think of no better way to kick off a day at Walt Disney World than with a plate of delicious Mickey Waffles. This adorable, detailed breakfast food can be found at quick service counters at resorts, a few quick service restaurants in the parks and of course at Disney table service restaurant breakfast buffets. Try a Mickey waffle on your next visit. You will be glad you did.
2. Park Popcorn
Sure, popcorn is not a very original park snack. Still, there is something special about enjoying the buttery popcorn from carts and snack stalls around the Disney parks. I have a difficult time passing up the delicious smell wafting from carts and generally enjoy several popcorn snacks during each of my Disney trips.
3. Confectionary Cupcakes
Sweetshops are numerous at Walt Disney World. Each park and Disney Springs offers plenty of chances to get your sugar fix at bakeries. I could never choose just one Disney cupcake as a favorite. I will urge you to check out a few of my favorite cupcake spots to sample their treats. ABC Commissary at Hollywood Studios, Sprinkles Bakery at Disney Springs, The Confectionary on The Magic Kingdom’s Main Street U.S.A, and Sunshine Seasons dessert counter in The Land at Epcot are all great cupcake spots.
4. Chocolate Mousse
Do not pass the French pavilion at Epcot without stopping at the French Bakery. Cheese plates, croissants, pastries and coffee in an abundance can be found at this eatery. My personal favorite on the menu since I was a child has been the rich and creamy chocolate mousse. This rich dessert is perfect for sharing and is not to be missed; it really is a one of a kind Disney snack.
