8. External Battery Packs
Between reviewing FastPass+ tickets on your phone and sharing park photos on social media, your phone battery does not stand a chance against a park day. Snag at least two charged external batteries to use in the parks to refuel your family’s phones. My favorite external batteries are from Sam’s Club but they are also available for purchase at Walmart and on Amazon.
7. After Sun Lotion
No matter how much sunscreen I pack and how much I assure myself I will not get sunburnt, I inevitably end up wishing I had packed after sun lotion. Perfect for intense sunburns and even the uncomfortable tight skin after a minor sunburn, after sun lotion is necessary for Florida vacationers. After sun care is expensive on the property and sunburnt guests are more than willing to pay the hefty price for relief. Do yourself a favor and pack after sun lotion before you leave for your vacation.
6. Second Pair of Walking Shoes
Go ahead and pack (or wear) a second pair of tried and true walking shoes you can use in the park. On the off chance your walking shoes break or get wet on a ride, you have an alternate pair to cover park ground with. I always pack a pair of tennis shoes and a pair of comfy sandals like Chacos for a Disney vacation.
