10 Things No One Tells You About Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

6. Early Opportunities

Guests staying on-property are able to book a few things early, including your FastPass+ reservations! Resort guests can book FastPass+ reservations up to 60 days in advance, which means more chances to experience the rides and attractions you love without the lines. In addition to the FastPass+ system, resort guests also have the chance to book dining reservations 180 days prior to your arrival. Guests can get a jump on figuring out their dining and FastPass+ plans well in advance, making your trip less stressful later!

5. Excellent Theming

Each Disney Resort Hotel provides a unique, themed experience, from the cast member uniforms, atmosphere, music, décor, rooms, restaurants, bars, shops, grounds, pools – everything you can imagine! And depending on where your resort is, you can watch fireworks from your room balcony. Walking around each resort is relaxing too. Some resorts feature bright colors and character-themed rooms and pools, while other resorts are more elegant and can transport you to another place and time.

4. Resort Restaurants

Some of the most sought-after restaurants are located within the resorts, and having easy access to them makes all the difference. Each resort has something to offer, whether it’s a cafeteria, casual sit-down, or elegant table service, and all are themed around the resort. This way, food is always available – even late at night! The resorts even have their own pizza delivery service that operates until 1 a.m. for some locations.
