3. Non-Park Day Perks
The heat, the walking, and general exhaustion hits you more than you’d think. There are going to be days where you’ll want to recharge. Your resort is the perfect place to do just that – especially at the resort pools! There are kids areas, water slides, plenty of lounge chairs, snack bars, you name it. You could spend a whole day at the pool. If you aren’t pool people, spend time wandering around your resort grounds and taking in the scenery. Sleep in, have a big breakfast, swim, relax, nap, enjoy a movie on the lawn at night, and go to bed early if you want. You don’t even have to leave your resort to have a fun Disney day!
2. The Magic Touches
The towels shaped like Mickey ears on the bed, paintings of characters in the rooms, music in the lobby, friendly cast members helping you out, and little hidden details in the architecture give that extra magic to the resorts. When you return to your hotel after a long day at the parks, it’s nice coming back to a place that still feels like Disney.
1. It’s Harder to Say Goodbye
Leaving Walt Disney World is hard, but leaving after staying at a Disney Resort hotel is even harder. Because Disney Resorts allow guests to be fully immersed in the magic, from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave, it can be extra difficult to pack up and hop back on Disney’s Magical Express to the airport. Despite how sad you may feel, you and your family will have many wonderful memories to take home with you!
If you’re on the fence about booking a room at a Walt Disney World Resort, take this information into consideration when making your choice. No matter which resort you choose, you are bound to have the vacation of a lifetime!
