Visiting Disney World Resort in Florida is a magical experience no matter how you approach your trip planning. But, there are some things you'll definitely want to make sure you keep in mind when getting your ducks-in-a-row before and during your trip. The following tips and advice can save you a substantial amount of time and money on your next trip.
1. Buying Tickets upon Arrival
Guests wait to buy tickets at the park gates for numerous reasons. However, buying tickets ahead of time saves you major park time. Not only do you get to skip the waiting line and stress of purchasing tickets the day of your trip, you get to reserve fast passes ahead of your vacation by booking your park tickets ahead of time. In fact, buying park tickets as much as one hundred days out is my recommendation, you want to use the myDisneyexperience app to snag all your favorite fast passes well in advance of your vacation.
2. Buying Snack Food on the Property
I am not too cheap to buy food at Walt Disney World. I am too cheap to buy everyday snack food for higher than I would pay at home. I choose to allocate money for meals at Disney restaurants by shopping ahead of my vacation to bring things like chips, soft drinks, water bottles and fruit with me. If I see a delicious item on the breakfast menu in a food court that I want to try I am sure to buy it. I just do not want to get stuck paying over two dollars each day for a banana out of necessity to start my day. Bring along some basic snacks your family enjoys to save money on snacks.
3. Not Utilizing Fast Passes Fully
You may be doing Disney wrong if fast passes are not a priority for your group. Reserving fast passes early and having a plan for which fast passes you hope to reserve after you use all previously reserved passes is important.
