4. If You Are Celebrating, Let Them Know.
If you have a birthday, anniversary, retirement, engagement, graduation or any other life event or accomplishment you are celebrating let the restaurant know. You can leave a note for servers when booking online or you can mention it at the hostess stand to receive celebratory treatment during your meal.
