12 Things That Could make Your Disney World Vacation Absolutely Miserable

10. Failing to Plan Ahead

Like it or not, the new way to plan a WDW vacation is to plan ahead. Take advantage of the opportunity to book in advance: 180 days for dining reservations, 60 days for resort guest FastPass+, and 30 days for non-resort guest FastPass+. You’ll be disappointed if you try to get a pass for one of the most popular rides, like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train or Frozen Ever After without a lot of lead-time. Beyond reservations, get to know the layout of the parks and make a basic plan for each day so you can get to the attractions most important to your group. Don’t end up sad that you missed out on a favorite because you got lost!

Laurel

Laurel took her first trip to Walt Disney World when she was only 18 months old and hasn’t stopped visiting since. Now she enjoys taking her own twins and husband as often as she can. And don’t tell the boys, but sometimes she goes without them, too.
