12 Things That Could make Your Disney World Vacation Absolutely Miserable

2. Not Having a Transportation Plan

My husband recently encountered a couple that was staying at an Orlando Airport area hotel. They wrongly assumed that the hotel would offer a shuttle to Disney World, and had no way to get to the parks. They ended up spending a lot of money that they hadn’t budgeted because they failed to confirm their assumptions and ended up taking cabs. If you’re staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can get around WDW using the busses and monorail. Airport transportation is provided via the Disney Magical Express busses (note that Shades of Green guests are NOT eligible for the Magical Express and will need to secure other airport transportation). If you’re staying off property, be sure to confirm that you hotel offers shuttle service to WDW or that you have a transportation plan. Don’t be caught scrambling!

Laurel

Laurel took her first trip to Walt Disney World when she was only 18 months old and hasn’t stopped visiting since. Now she enjoys taking her own twins and husband as often as she can. And don’t tell the boys, but sometimes she goes without them, too.
