15 Pricey Experiences That Could Totally Blow Your Budget At Walt Disney World

6. “Hard Ticket” Events

The term “hard ticket” refers to events or parties that take place in a Disney Park but require a separate ticket from your regular admission. The most popular of these are Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, both of which occur seasonally at Magic Kingdom. You cannot come to either party without a separately purchased ticket, and if you are in the park during the day on a regular ticket you will be escorted out when the party begins. The costs for these parties are upwards of $70 per person, making the cost for a family of four over $280. If you choose to attend one of these parties you might want to make it a “down day” from the parks in the morning and afternoon, so you aren’t paying both park admission and the “hard ticket” price.

Laurel

Laurel took her first trip to Walt Disney World when she was only 18 months old and hasn’t stopped visiting since. Now she enjoys taking her own twins and husband as often as she can. And don’t tell the boys, but sometimes she goes without them, too.
