15 Things Every Walt Disney World Rookie Should Know

6. Make Sure You Get The Ticket Package That’s Right for You

It might seem like a no-brainer – if you’re going to be at Disney World for seven days, you need a 7 day ticket, right? Maybe, but probably not. Remember that there are lots of things to do at Walt Disney World that aren’t part of a Park Hopper ticket. Disney Springs is worth visiting and there is no entrance fee. The Resort Hotels often have fun things to do that you might not want to miss. The water parks are ticketed separately. Also, consider if the Park Hopper option is really useful for your trip. For a lot of families more than one park per day is simply too much, and the Park Hopper option is just an uneccesary extra expense. Remember that you can leave and reenter the same park in a single day without Park Hopper.

Laurel

Laurel took her first trip to Walt Disney World when she was only 18 months old and hasn’t stopped visiting since. Now she enjoys taking her own twins and husband as often as she can. And don’t tell the boys, but sometimes she goes without them, too.
