18. WestCOT
While there are several versions of Disneyland/Magic Kingdom worldwide, Epcot is unique. But at one time there was a plan to give Disneyland Resort its own version of Epcot. WestCOT was planned for California in the late 1980s. But when EuroDisney proved to be a financial loss, plans for WestCOT were scrapped. But eventually Disneyland did get a second park, Disney’s California Adventure, which opened in 2001.
Epcot is a truly unique place that’s full of fun surprises and unexpected opportunities. Be sure to dedicate some time to this unusual park; there is so much to see and do, and so many more great secrets to uncover!
