2. The Royal History of Morocco

When EPCOT Center opened there were nine countries represented in the World Showcase; Mexico, China, Germany, Italy, USA, Japan, France, The United Kingdom, and Canada. King Hassan II of Morocco saw the World Showcase as a great way to teach Americans about his country’s culture. So he sent artisans from Morocco to Epcot to build the incredible Morocco pavilion. While there, be sure to check out the beautiful hand-laid mosaics and incredible architecture. The restaurants and pavilion are still operated by an entity set up by the Moroccan government.
