According to authorities, Justin Taylor, age 38, was taken into custody by Orange County deputies on Monday while visiting Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort, following witness accounts describing an altercation between Taylor and a child in a park bathroom stall.

An arrest affidavit, referenced in reporting from Click Orlando, states that a witness heard Taylor shout at the child before repeatedly pushing the child into the wall of the stall over a period of several minutes. The same witness told investigators they observed blood on the restroom floor and heard Taylor say to the child, “You slipped and fell.”

In his own statement to law enforcement, Taylor gave a differing version of the events, claiming he had been attempting to get past the child inside the confined stall space in order to use the restroom, and that the child slipped and fell during that movement, resulting in the injury.

As of this report, Disney World has not released a statement, and several key details remain unclear. Investigators have not confirmed the exact location within Magic Kingdom where the incident took place, the current medical condition of the child, or whether additional family members accompanied Taylor and the child during their visit to the park.

This Disney World arrest case remains under investigation, and updates regarding formal charges, court dates, and any resulting sentencing are expected as the legal process moves forward. Incidents like this, while rare, raise ongoing questions about guest safety monitoring inside high-traffic areas of major theme parks.

When he’s not thinking about the Magic Kingdom, Thomas is usually reading a book, becoming desperately obsessed with fictional characters, or baking something delicious (his favorite is chocolate cake -- to bake and to eat). He's a dreamer and grew up on Mulan saving the world, Jim Hawkins soaring through the stars, and Padmé Amidala fighting a Nexu. At the Parks, he loves to ride Everest, stroll down Main Street with an overstuffed pin lanyard around his neck, and eat as many Mickey-shaped ice creams as possible. His favorite character is Han Solo (yes, he did shoot first), and his favorite TV show is Buffy the Vampire Slayer except when it's One Tree Hill. He loves sandy beach walks, forest hikes, and foodie days out in the Big City. Thomas lives in England, UK, with his fiancée, baby, and their dog, a Border Collie called Luna.
