While some people plan their trips to Magic Kingdom around trying to conquer the mountains or attempting to meet and greet with all of the characters present in the park, other guests plan their touring plans around where they want to eat and when they’ll be hungry for a particular dish. No where is this more true when exploring the rivers of the world and the untamed jungles in Adventureland. It is always a difficult decision to pick which of the following places to eat at when we are in the Magic Kingdom, but here are five amazing places to eat at in Adventureland!/p>

5 – Tortuga Tavern – Tortuga Tavern is a counter-service restaurant that operates seasonally during peak times of the year. Currently, the menu at Tortuga Tavern tempts guests with a variety of barbecue selections. Guests can have a wonderful pulled pork sandwich or a succulent brisket. Since the restaurant only operates seasonally, be sure to check with Disney Dining or consult your My Disney Experience app to see if they will be serving up this delicious food during your visit!

4 – Snack Cart Near Jungle Cruise – guests aren’t always looking for something succulent or savory when wanting food. At times, we are just looking for classic selections. The snack cart before descending the steps to the Jungle Cruise offers up all of the classic Disney choices – hot, buttered popcorn, Mickey bars, and a variety of beverages. Sometimes this is a perfect choice before jumping in line for one of the headliner attractions or shows in Adventureland!

3 – Sunshine Tree Terrace – the perennial debate in Adventureland is whether guests prefer the Citrus Swirl or the Dole Whip. Guests preferring the former selection should find their way to the Sunshine Tree Terrace located near the entrance to the Swiss Family Treehouse. Citrus Swirls are a great way to begin a day in the Magic Kingdom, to top off a delicious meal, or the perfect treat when leaving the park for the day, so no trip to the Magic Kingdom is complete without one!

2 – Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen – the newest addition to dining options in Adventureland, the Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen is a table service restaurant that is a continuation of the story from the Jungle Cruise and the skippers that staff it. Guests have the option to dine on fabulous dishes with adventurous twists. With the expansion of alcohol being available in the Magic Kingdom restaurants, the Skipper Canteen is a great place to grab some food, a drink, and plenty of relaxation!
