5 Sensational Bars at Walt Disney World

Tambu Lounge

The best thing about Disney World is that it’s not only for kids. There’s so much to do for adults as well (beyond popular belief). One of the more popular options for adults, bar hopping! Disney World is a fabulous place for bars and world-class cocktails. We’ve come up with a list of the 5 best bars throughout all of Disney World.

5. Outer Rim

Located atop Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Outer Rim is a fun place to have a few cocktails with a view. Its modern design makes this place an edgy, yet sophisticated place to unwind. Try the Blue Glow-tini or the Magical Star Punch!

4. La Cava del Tequila

Situated inside the Mexico Pavilion at Epcot, La Cava del Tequila is the perfect place to stop and relax during a busy day at Epcot. Enjoy a delicious margarita with some light snacks, such as chips and guacamole. Yum!

3. Sanaa Lounge

Sanaa Lounge is great for many reasons. One, it’s located inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Which means you can tour the resort and see some animals before or after you have some drinks. Two, it has a really great and unique menu. You are able to order Indian-inspired appetizers and fun, fruity cocktails. Like the Raspberry Mojito, which I fell in love with.

2. Tambu Lounge

One of the main reasons guests love this lounge is its location. It’s located on the top floor of Disney’s Polynesian Resort, right next to Ohana. This makes it easy to have a drink or two before dinner. Tropical drinks are in abundance here. Make sure you try the Lapu Lapu! Served in a fresh, carved pineapple!

1. Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto

Also located in Disney’s Polynesian Resort, this is one of the newest bars and restaurants to open. Aside from alcoholic drinks, the menu also offers sushi, pork tacos, and other unique items. But the real stars here are the fruity drinks! Castaway Crush, Hippopoto Mai-Tai, and Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Rum are just a few drinks that are offered here!

So even though you may be traveling on a family vacation, there is always room for some grown-up fun as well! If you hit any of these 5 lounges, you won’t be disappointed. They are all unique in their own way, yet equally fantastic! Have you tried any bars or lounges around Walt Disney World?

Writing has always been my passion. I have had an interest in writing ever since I was young. Similarly, I have always loved Disney. There is not a day that goes by that I'm not reading or watching something about Disney. I am currently finishing up my bachelor’s degree and working as well. I live right outside of Chicago, but visit Walt Disney World Resort several times a year.
