5 Quick-Service Restaurants We Love at Hollywood Studios

Backlot Express

We are a BIG fan of the table service dining options available at Hollywood Studios because of the theming present in each one: feeling the glitz and glamour of the Hollywood Brown Derby, or feeling like you are in Mom’s kitchen at 50’s Prime Time Café, or under the stars at the Sci-Fi Dine-In. However, Hollywood Studios is home to some spectacular quick-service restaurants for guests who don’t want to miss out on too much fun while dining. Here is our list of the five quick-service restaurants we love at Hollywood Studios!

5 – ABC Commissary – this restaurant is located on Commissary Lane between the Great Movie Ride and the Sci-Fi Dine-In. This is a great restaurant because of the variety of food that it offers. Guests can choose from an inventive burger to a variety of salads, seafood platters, and deli-style sandwiches. The atmosphere is worth taking note of, too – guests are treated to a variety of classic TV theme songs while enjoying their meal in the air-conditioning. We also love this restaurant for the selection of desserts!

4 – Backlot Express – located between Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular and Star Tours, this restaurant aims to please with a great selection of food and drinks. Adults needing a break can enjoy a good selection of craft beers. There is plenty of seating in this location and guests choosing to have soda can get free refills when visiting the Backlot Express – a nicety not present at every restaurant. Guests can explore a variety of props around the restaurant while they are enjoying classic American fare!

3 – Fairfax Fare – guests looking for a more substantial, but still quick meal should head to Sunset Boulevard and check out this restaurant located in the Sunset Ranch Market area. Fairfax Fare offers guests the choice of barbecued ribs and chicken or a combination of the two. There is plenty of covered, outdoor seating for guests dining in this area. We also enjoy dining here because of its proximity to the next location on our list…

2 – Hollywood Scoops – this location, the last in the Sunset Ranch Market area, serves up delicious ice cream in a variety of flavors. Be decisive because after you pick your flavor, you have to choose how you want to enjoy it – as a cone, cup, or perhaps as in a ice-cream sandwich between two decadent chocolate chip cookies!! Be forewarned that there is often a line at this location, but it is definitely worth the wait!

1 – Min and Bill’s Dockside Diner – located in Echo Lake, Min and Bill’s serves guests from a boat and offers up the most creative culinary choices in the park! Guests looking for the infamous turkey leg can find it here, as well as new twists on hot dogs. This location rotates their menu frequently, so if you see something that you like, be sure to grab it quick before its gone.

It is worth noting three of these dining locations could be modified or completely demolished in the upcoming additions of Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land, so be sure to get there and enjoy the food at these places while you still can! Have we left any off the list? What is your favorite quick-service place to eat at Hollywood Studios?
