4. Transportation

With its central location, guests have a bevy of transportation options to choose from for getting to and from their favorite Disney destinations.  Their proximity to Epcot and Hollywood Studios allows guests to walk to either of these destinations or choose to climb aboard a Friendship Boat to arrive at either of the parks.  Guests will also soon be able to ride the Disney Skyliner from either of the parks to additional resorts in the area – Caribbean Beach and Art of Animation and Pop Century.  These transportation options are in addition to the traditional Disney bus service that are able to get guests to the other theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs!

5. Entertainment

In addition to the entertainment that the theme parks have to offer, guests also have other wonderful options when it comes to entertainment.  Guests can find great lounges to relax in, enjoy a drink, and possibly enjoy some live music or enjoy the game.  In addition to restful lounges, guests can stroll around the Boardwalk and go dancing at the Atlantic Dance Hall or watch dueling pianos at Jellyrolls.  And similar to other Disney resorts, guests can enjoy resort-wide movies at various locations at the resort to unwind with after a tiring day at the parks.

Cooling down after a long, hot day at any of the theme parks, the pools at Disney World are very refreshing, but the pools at these resorts are at the top of the list.  At the Beach and Yacht Club, guests will love the sand-bottomed pool at Stormalong Bay, as well as the extremely fast and thrilling waterslide that transports guests from a shipwreck directly into the pool.  Over at the Boardwalk, guests will enjoy the heightened theming with the Luna Park Pool and the giant clown face that houses the exit of the pool.  The pools at the Swan and Dolphin are equally relaxing and offers a more tropical escape, but the same level of thrills with exciting waterslides!
