6 Things We Love about Morocco in Walt Disney’s Epcot

6. It’s Just Like the Real Thing

In all of the World Showcase, the architecture of the Morocco pavilion is the only one in which the represented country’s government—rather than a corporation—had a hand in its design and construction. The King of Morocco himself, Hassan II, sent his personal craftsman and artisans to assist in the creation of the buildings and the many mosaics, respectively.

Next time you’re in the World Showcase, stop in the Morocco pavilion and immerse yourself in the authentic workmanship, architecture, art, music, dancing, and even plant life of its home country.
