7 Reasons To Take a Solo Trip to Walt Disney World

The purpose of many of our most recent solo trips have been to participate in unique Disney events.  For this writer, those events are runDisney race weekends. Currently, Disney World is host to four separate race weekends — Marathon Weekend in January, Princess Half Marathon Weekend in February, Star Wars: The Dark Side Half Marathon Weekend in April, and Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend in November.  Moreover, these weekends overlap with other unique events taking place at Walt Disney World.  Epcot is now how to three specialty festivals that consistently take place from early August through late May (International Food and Wine Festival, Festival of the Arts, and Flower and Garden Festival).  Additionally, guests can enjoy Micky’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party between September and the end of the year!
