7 Tips for a Fabulous Day at Kennedy Space Center

6. Have a Game Plan Going In

Again, anyone who’s ever planned a Disney trip will understand the importance of making a plan for what you intend to do once you’re at Kennedy Space Center. The daily admission ticket—which is $50 per adult, $40 per child—includes the following attractions:

  • Space Shuttle Atlantis
  • Shuttle Launch Experience
  • Heroes & Legends featuring the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame
  • Kennedy Space Center bus tour (featuring a stop at the Apollo/Saturn V Center)
  • NASA Now
  • Journey to Mars: Explorers Wanted
  • Astronaut Encounter
  • IMAX theater 3D films
  • Rocket launch viewing (when available)
  • Numerous shows and exhibits

There are also many upgrades you can add to your admission, including lunch with an astronaut (+$30 per adult, +$16 per child), a Mars exploration simulator (+$40), and much more. Even without these upgrades, you can plan to spend at least eight hours trying to see everything on the list above.
