8 Dining Tips from a Disney Expert

2. Be Aware of Discounts

Disney World does have discounts available to guests to decrease their bills at restaurants across property.  The first is a discount available to passholders.  Not every member of the party needs to be a passholder to take advantage of this discount, so maybe one member of your party purchases an annual pass for your visit to get access to these great discounts.  The second discount is available through the Tables in Wonderland program (this program is only open to Disney annual passholders, as well as Florida residents and DVC members), however, it offers a massive 20% discount on everything – food and alcohol.  There is a high initial cost ($175), so if you don’t travel with a large family or don’t visit multiple times in a year, this might not be the best choice for you.

1. Visit During Festival Season

With the recent addition of the Epcot Festival of the Arts, almost the entire year is festival season at Epcot, but we highly recommend visiting during one of the three festivals at Epcot.  Guests will love the ability to stroll the World Showcase Promenade and enjoy small snacks and tasty libations from a variety of eclectic outdoor kitchens while learning more about the cultures of different countries, gardening, or the arts!

Dining at Disney World can be a hectic experience, but follow these tips for an anxiety-free planning experience!  What is your top dining tip while at Disney World?
