At the end of the hallway that comprises the Marketplace, guests will find Ronto Roasters — a counter service dining location that offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as supports mobile ordering. At breakfast, guests can have a savory breakfast wrap — scrambled eggs, grilled sausage, cheese, and a peppercorn sauce wrapped in pita bread or a filling overnight oats mixture of oats, dragonfruit, yogurt, and seasonal fruit. Either of these selections will provide fuel for a day full of fun in Batuu! For lunch or dinner, guests can have a wrap with a tangy slaw, roasted pork and grilled sausage, specialty turkey jerky, and a variety of refreshing beverages! Guests will enjoy the covered, shaded dining area that offers a great view into the land!
Kat Saka’s Kettle
This quick service food cart offers a traditional Disney treat with an out-of-this-world twist! Guests will be able to have popcorn that has been coated with a variety of colors and sweet and spicy flavors! Guests are sure to love this delicious treat and will want to pair their choice with a bottled orb soda of their favorite Coke product!
Disney Play Functionality
Guests wanting to discover the land and explore the mythology of the land are encouraged to download the Disney Play app that offers guests the opportunity to use their app on their phone to break locks, report spies, and earn points that contribute to their personality as a rebel spy or as a subject loyal to the First Order. You’re guaranteed to have a great time using the app, so make sure you have a back-up battery since it will be using a lot of your battery life!
Between characters walking around the land (seriously, Chewbacca and Rey took refuge in Ronto’s Roasters during a recent visit) to authentic costumes, Disney did not spare a dime in making Galaxy’s Edge as real as possible. Guests can easily spend two hours walking around the land and appreciating the theming and looking for all of those small Disney details!
Jewels of Bith
This stall in the Marketplace sells a variety of traditional merchandise to guests. Guests can find Black Spire Outpost hats, bags, t-shirts, as well as cooling fans and mugs. To add to the overall theme, the stall is very small — only about seven people can comfortably fit in the shop at any one time!
The Marketplace in Galaxy’s Edge is a great place to find a fabulous souvenir or take a great picture to remember your trip to Batuu by. Are you excited to visit Galaxy’s Edge? What do you want to buy on your next trip?
