8 Tips for Tackling Epcot

Epcot can be a difficult park to experience.  The park has two separate thematic areas – Future World and World Showcase.  There are also a bevy of restaurant options, as well as diverse and entertaining attractions.  Given all of the choices open to guests, it can be difficult to plan appropriately for the park.  But, here are our 8 tips for tackling Epcot!

8. Rope Drop

Guests wanting to get the most out of their Epcot experience should plan to arrive to be able to rope drop the park.  While this may mean needing to set and alarm while on vacation, you’ll be glad that you did.  Entering Epcot at rope drop will allow guests to experience popular attractions (Frozen Ever After, Soarin’ Around the World, and Test Track) with minimal wait times. Guests will also be able to experience the park with lower crowd levels, too!

7. Festival Season

Between the Epcot Festival of the Arts (January-February), the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival (March – May), the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival (August – November), and the Epcot Festival of the Holidays (December), there is almost always a festival happening at Epcot. With the festivals come special merchandise, attractions, entertainment, and refreshments.  It is because of this that we recommend tackling Epcot during festival season.  Guests can research the various festivals and determine which sounds the most interesting and make their plans appropriately!
