Disneyland Resort has announced that one of its newest attractions, So Much That We Share: A Tribute to the Sherman Brothers, has temporarily closed less than one month after its grand opening. The Disneyland Park attraction, which premiered on July 17, 2025, as part of the Disneyland70 celebrations, honors the musical legacy of Richard and Robert Sherman, the brothers behind many of Disney’s most beloved melodies.

So Much That We Share features a screening of the short film The Last Verse (2024), which includes a new verse written by Richard Sherman for the iconic “it’s a small world” theme song. Before his passing in 2024, Sherman wrote the final verse, which has been added to the “it’s a small world” rides at both Disneyland Park and Magic Kingdom Park.
However, just weeks after its debut, So Much That We Share: A Tribute to the Sherman Brothers was closed for filming. According to reports from WDWNT, a sign posted outside the Main Street Cinema now informs guests that the attraction will be unavailable due to filming in the area. The closure is expected to last until August 16, 2025.

The filming is for the new Oswald the Lucky Rabbit series, which is currently in production at Disneyland Resort. The live-action/animated show, which will stream exclusively on Disney+, stars Kathryn Hahn, Mykal-Michelle Harris, and Ryder Allen, with Jon Favreau serving as the writer and producer. This week, Disneyland Resort guests spotted the cast filming scenes at various locations throughout the Southern California Disney parks.

Oswald the Lucky Rabbit was created by Walt Disney for Universal in 1927. After losing the rights to the character in 1928, The Walt Disney Company regained control of Oswald in 2006. Since then, the character has appeared on merchandise and in meet-and-greets at Disney California Adventure Park. However, this new Disney+ series will be Oswald’s first solo project.
