For decades, alcohol was strictly off-limits at Disney parks. That rule has shifted dramatically in recent years—and nowhere is the transformation more obvious than EPCOT.
Known for attracting an older crowd thanks to its international food and drink offerings, the park has become a destination not just for families, but for adult guests seeking more elevated experiences.

That evolution continues this fall, when EPCOT adds a new offering during its 2025 International Food and Wine Festival.
The annual event already boasts dozens of Global Marketplaces offering beer, wine, cocktails, and snacks inspired by countries around the world. But this year, Disney is going further with an unlimited champagne mimosa breakfast in the France Pavilion.
Unlimited Mimosas, French Pastries, and More
Beginning September 5, guests can reserve a Parisian breakfast buffet at Chefs de France for $64.95 per person. The buffet includes all-you-can-drink French champagne mimosas, along with fruit juices, coffee, and a spread of authentic French breakfast items like smoked salmon, seasonal fruits, croissants, and baguettes.

According to Disney, the offering will run on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. until the festival wraps on November 22. Reservations are now available via the official Disney World website.
Guests will need to be 21 or older to enjoy the champagne portion of the breakfast. As Disney notes, “guests will need to provide proof that they’re over the age of 21 to take advantage of the champagne options.”
The new breakfast aligns with EPCOT’s broader strategy of catering to adult parkgoers, many of whom have embraced the park's casual drinking culture.

A Park With a Drinking Reputation
EPCOT has become synonymous with alcohol in recent years, especially during festivals like Food and Wine, Flower and Garden, and Festival of the Holidays. Drinks are available year-round at locations across the park, with standouts including margaritas in Mexico, sake in Japan, and frozen cocktails in France. Beer fans can head to Germany for craft brews or try local drafts in the American Adventure Pavilion.
The park’s culture of drinking has become so prevalent that some guests jokingly refer to EPCOT residents as “alcoholics” during the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind pre-show.

While alcohol is now sold in all four Walt Disney World theme parks, none offer it as freely or prominently as EPCOT. It’s a shift from the early Disney era, when even Club 33 was the only place to get a drink inside Disneyland.
This year’s Food and Wine Festival runs from August 28 through November 22. Alongside the new mimosa breakfast, it will feature the popular Eat to the Beat Concert Series presented by Florida Blue, with performances from acts like KT Tunstall, Smash Mouth, Tiffany, Bowling for Soup, and Boyz II Men.
For Disney, the move signals a continued focus on elevated—and adult-friendly—experiences.
