Character dining at Walt Disney World has always been about more than food—it’s about creating those magical little moments that families remember long after the trip is over. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Hollywood & Vine has been a go-to spot for years, letting guests enjoy breakfast while kids laughed and danced with their favorite Disney Junior characters. But now, that tradition is about to change in a big way.

A Fresh Look at Breakfast
Starting October 12, 2025, the restaurant will launch Minnie’s Seasonal Dining for breakfast. Instead of waiting until lunch or dinner, fans will now be able to see Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, and Pluto dressed in costumes that change throughout the year. Think spooky Halloween outfits in the fall, festive holiday sweaters in December, or colorful spring ensembles when the flowers bloom. It’s a fun and fresh twist that ensures guests can start their mornings with some of Disney’s most iconic faces.
The Flip Side: Disney Junior Bows Out
However, the exciting new offering comes with a catch. October 11, 2025 will mark the final day of Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine at Hollywood & Vine. For many families, this was a must-do experience, giving little ones the chance to meet characters like Vampirina, Doc McStuffins, and Fancy Nancy. With its closure, parents of toddlers may find themselves scrambling to figure out where these favorite friends will appear next—if at all.

A Bigger Pattern at Hollywood Studios
The dining shift isn’t happening in isolation. Just weeks earlier, on September 25, the Disney Junior Play and Dance! show will also close. This indoor space had given parents a much-needed break while kids could sing and move around with beloved Disney Junior stars. In its place, Disney plans to open “The Magic of Disney Animation” in 2026, promising interactive spaces, drawing activities, and more. While that sounds exciting, the absence of Disney Junior in the meantime leaves a noticeable gap.

Exciting Yet Bittersweet
Minnie’s Seasonal Dining will no doubt become a hit, especially for guests who want more opportunities to meet the classic Fab Four. Still, for families with toddlers, the end of Disney Junior offerings at Hollywood Studios will feel like a major loss. The hope now is that Disney has another plan in the works to keep these characters alive in the parks.
