McDonald’s and Disney Make Vacation-Changing Announcement

Exciting news is on the way for Disney Parks fans, as McDonald’s and the Mouse are teaming up for an update that could impact your next Disneyland Paris Resort vacation. A brand-new McDonald’s restaurant is currently under construction in Disney Village, replacing the existing location that has been serving guests for decades.

McDonald’s has been a staple at Disneyland Paris since the 1990s, offering a convenient and affordable dining option for guests from around the world. The fast-food giant first introduced the Golden Arches to France in 1972, quickly becoming one of the country’s most popular brands. The location in Disney Village offers a familiar and affordable bite for families during visits to the European Disney parks.

The new McDonald’s, which is expected to open in 2026, will replace the original, retro location and feature a multi-story design with “innovative architecture created exclusively for Disneyland Paris.” Photos shared by @DLPReport on X (formerly Twitter) offer glimpses of the building’s progress, with freshly installed windows and architectural supports coming together behind the construction walls. Disneyland Paris Resort has already filed a construction permit to demolish the original location once the new restaurant is ready to open.

🔧 One project that’s going fast is, as usual, the Mc Donald’s Disney Village:

McDonald’s has had a longstanding partnership with Disney, dating back to the 1980s when the two companies first collaborated on Disney-themed Happy Meal toys. The Golden Arches even sponsored the original DINOSAUR attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. However, McDonald’s has slowly disappeared from the U.S. Disney parks over the years, with only one location remaining near the All-Star Resort hotels at Walt Disney World Resort.
