Guests visiting Disneyland Paris Resort this week are finding parts of Adventureland completely inaccessible as the park undergoes another major round of construction. While Disneyland Park remains open, new construction walls have appeared throughout the Adventureland area, limiting access to certain walkways and attractions without prior notice.
Construction Expands Through Adventureland

Over the past several months, Disneyland Paris Resort has been undergoing large-scale refurbishment efforts across both of its theme parks, as well as nearby Disney Village and Disney Resort hotels. Projects range from minor maintenance updates at Starbucks locations and a brand-new McDonald’s at Disney Village to the ongoing reimagining of Walt Disney Studios Park into Disney Adventure World. That expansion will include a new World of Frozen area inspired by Frozen (2013) and a land based on The Lion King (1994). The park is scheduled to debut its new name in spring 2026.

Now, guests are seeing even more construction walls pop up — this time deep in Adventureland at Disneyland Park. The area near Au Chalet de la Marionnette, a Quick Service restaurant that borders Adventureland and Fantasyland, is surrounded by tall barricades that make parts of the pathway completely off-limits to parkgoers. The restaurant itself remains open, but the surrounding area has become restricted due to the latest phase of the ongoing refurbishment project.
New Barriers Reported by Guests

On Monday, October 27, X (formerly known as Twitter) user @PixiedustDLP shared photos showing several newly installed walls throughout Adventureland. The images revealed extensive blockades surrounding parts of the land, effectively sealing off certain routes that connect to Fantasyland.

These new blockades appear to extend from the existing barricades that were first placed in September. Disneyland Paris Resort has not officially stated what work is taking place behind the walls or how long the closures will last.
