In the spring of 2026, Disney fans will be able to step into Arendelle when the World of Frozen debuts at Disneyland Paris Resort. The land will feature two major attractions: Frozen Ever After, a boat ride that will take guests through memorable scenes from the 2013 film, and Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs, a roller coaster.

As Disneyland Paris Resort prepares for the grand opening of the World of Frozen, the park is also undergoing a massive transformation, which includes rebranding Walt Disney Studios Park as Disney Adventure World. This revitalization will transform the movie-making-inspired theme park into a series of immersive lands inspired by popular franchises, much like Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort.

A Sneak Peek at Testing

As construction continues on the World of Frozen, Disney cast members have been spotted testing elements of the new park area, including the lighting effects on the North Mountain and Elsa’s ice palace. On November 5, X (formerly Twitter) user @DLPReport shared a photo of the ongoing tests:

Beyond Arendelle

While the Frozen (2013) land is the star of the show, it’s not the only new addition coming to Disney Adventure World. Disneyland Paris Resort has also confirmed that The Lion King (1994) will have its own dedicated area in the park, including a new log flume ride. A grand opening date for this Lion King area has not been announced.

The World of Frozen is set to open in spring 2026 alongside the reimagined Disney Adventure World. Last week, rumors spread that the reimagined park would debut on March 22; however, Disneyland Paris Resort hasn’t confirmed these reports.
