“Traumatizing” Attack at Disneyland Leaves Blood on Floor

A violent incident was reported at Disneyland earlier this week, resulting in an attraction queue being closed and cast members cleaning blood from the floor as guests waited nearby.

The incident comes amid several recent reports of guest altercations across Disney properties during the holiday period, a time marked by sustained peak attendance and long attraction waits.

In recent weeks, guests have reported a physical fight in the Radiator Springs Racers queue at Disney California Adventure Park. Police were also summoned following a verbal altercation at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort.

Separately, a report of battery was filed at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Each incident occurred in public guest areas during operating hours.

Against that backdrop, one account from Disneyland has drawn particular attention due to where it allegedly occurred and how quickly it escalated.

The incident was reported to have taken place on December 30, during the middle of the day, inside a high-capacity attraction queue filled with families.

Incident Reported Inside Indiana Jones Queue

According to a guest account shared on Reddit, the altercation unfolded in the queue for Indiana Jones Adventure around 12:45 p.m.

Indiana Jones Adventure is one of Disneyland’s most popular attractions. Guests queue through enclosed, temple-themed corridors before boarding ride vehicles, with limited space and low lighting once inside.

A witness wrote that a man wearing light green sweatpants began beating an older man “senselessly for about a minute” while still in line.

“The older man did not fight back but cowered down while his 20-something year old daughter screamed and cried ‘stop hitting my dad’,” the witness wrote on Reddit. “It was incredibly traumatizing and the dude who assaulted the man ran off.”

According to the same account, the victim was left “covered in blood on his face,” prompting cast members to close the attraction queue.

Disney staff were reportedly seen scrubbing blood from the floor in multiple areas of the line as guests were redirected.

“I thought the guy was going to die,” the witness added. “I hope he is ok and the other man was punished. Watching the horrific violence definitely ruined the day.”

Indiana Jones Adventure typically processes thousands of riders per hour, keeping its queue densely packed throughout much of the day.

The ride itself features sudden motion, loud effects, and confined interiors, making the queue one of the park’s most tightly controlled spaces.

Online Reaction and a Separate Indiana Jones Incident

The account quickly sparked discussion online, with users debating whether bystanders should intervene during incidents of public violence.

Some questioned why no guests stepped in physically. Others cited safety and legal concerns.

“Unfortunately, trying to intervene in today’s society opens you up to a whole host of liability issues, not to mention the risk of injury to myself in the first place,” one commenter wrote.

Another added, “We live in a time where if you DO step in, there is a good chance YOU will be arrested, possibly sued. Apparently we are no longer allowed to defend ourselves or others from violent louts.”

The Disneyland report surfaced during the same week as a separate Indiana Jones–related incident at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

During a performance of Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!, a large rubber boulder prop reportedly rolled off its track toward the audience.

A cast member stopped the prop before it reached guests, but was knocked to the ground and reportedly injured.

Disney later confirmed the boulder will undergo changes. For now, the iconic effect has been temporarily removed from the stunt show.

“We’re focused on supporting our cast member, who is recovering,” Disney said. “Safety is at the heart of what we do, and that element of the show will be modified as our safety team completes a review of what happened.”

Disney has not publicly commented on the reported Disneyland queue incident.

  1. Hi there was a fight at Disneyland on December 12th and I had to escape through the rails of soaring and no one at Disney has gotten back to me. Is there any way you could add that information
