Disneyland’s October Halloween Parties Are Officially Gone

Guests waiting until fall to secure Oogie Boogie Bash tickets may discover that they've waited too long.

Disneyland Resort's popular Halloween event is approaching a complete sellout, with every October party now unavailable.

The calendar has been shrinking throughout the summer, but the latest update removes the final October choices. Tickets for the October 22 and October 27 events are no longer available, completing a month-long sellout at Disney California Adventure.

Anyone without a ticket now has only four chances left to attend in 2026.

September Is Now the Only Option

All remaining Oogie Boogie Bash availability falls in September.

Tickets are currently available for September 3, September 8, September 10, and September 15. Each party costs $159.

That means there isn't a single available date after the middle of September.

For guests who live close to Disneyland Resort, those remaining parties could still provide an opportunity to attend. Travelers who need more time to organize a California vacation may have a tougher decision.

October visitors face an even bigger problem.

Anyone arriving during October who hasn't already purchased an Oogie Boogie Bash ticket no longer has an available party to add to the trip through regular ticket sales.

That's happening before August has even ended.

October Demand Was Strong From the Start

The October calendar didn't suddenly disappear overnight.

Guests showed how interested they were in the month's parties almost immediately after public ticket sales began.

Halloween night sold out on June 19, only one day after tickets became available to the general public.

It isn't difficult to understand why October 31 disappeared so quickly. Oogie Boogie Bash is designed around Halloween, making the actual holiday one of the most appealing nights of the entire season.

Other October parties lasted longer, but their availability gradually vanished as well.

October 22 and October 27 were among the final holdouts. Their sellouts have now officially closed the door on the entire month.

Why Guests Keep Coming Back

Oogie Boogie Bash gives Disney California Adventure a different atmosphere after regular park operations.

Rather than simply extending the normal park day, Disney offers Halloween experiences specifically associated with the separately ticketed event.

Guests can explore treat trails, shop for seasonal merchandise, and experience special entertainment. Madame Leota's Swinging Wake street party is also part of the 2026 festivities.

The limited schedule makes those experiences more difficult to access than attractions guests can visit throughout the year.

There are only so many Oogie Boogie Bash nights each season. Once Disney sells the available tickets for a particular party, guests can't simply move their plans to the following evening.

That becomes particularly important as the calendar fills.

Earlier in the sales period, guests had more flexibility. If one date disappeared, several alternatives remained.

That's no longer the case.

The 2026 Event Is Closing In on a Complete Sellout

There are now just four dates standing between Oogie Boogie Bash and a complete 2026 sellout.

September 3 is the earliest remaining party, while September 15 is the latest.

Anyone who wants to attend after that date is currently out of options.

The situation could also encourage guests who were undecided to act sooner. With October completely gone, there isn't another month waiting in reserve if September tickets disappear.

Disney's seasonal events regularly attract strong demand, particularly around the holidays they celebrate. Oogie Boogie Bash 2026 is showing that pattern again.

Halloween night was gone within a day of public sales beginning. Now, every other October party has joined it.

The entire season hasn't sold out yet, but it's getting close.

Anyone still hoping to attend Oogie Boogie Bash in 2026 now has only four September nights left to choose from.
