Walt Disney World just released room-only discounts for Spring 2027. Up to 25 percent off, January 3 through April 29.
Some context.
Look, rack rates at Disney World are the starting point, not what most people should actually be paying.
Discounts land in waves. They cover specific date ranges. They hit completely differently depending on resort tier. Book before an offer drops, and you are routinely leaving several hundred dollars on the table for the exact same room.
So here is the new one, and here is the part everybody skims past.
The Disney World Dates Are the Whole Game
Two windows, and they are absolutely not equal:
- February 28 to April 29, 2027, higher discount, most nights
- January 3 to February 25, 2027, lower discount, most Sundays through Thursday nights only
That Sunday through Thursday restriction is the catch nobody puts in a headline. Weekend stays in January and most of February are excluded outright, which kills this offer for anyone planning a long weekend.
The spring window gets you the better percentage and weekend availability. If your dates are flexible at all, that is where to look.

Basically, all deluxe and Disney Vacation Club. Higher rack rates leave more room to cut, and 25 percent off a Grand Floridian night is a wildly bigger dollar figure than 25 percent off a value room.

The Polynesian landing here, instead of the top tier, is genuinely a little surprising for a deluxe monorail resort. Demand has stayed strong since Island Tower opened, so Disney apparently does not feel much pressure to discount it harder.

15 percent off most nights, February 28 to April 29. 10 percent off most Sunday through Thursday nights, January 3 to February 25.

All high-end, high-demand rooms that fill up no matter what the price says.
Three Things Before You Book a Disney World Trip
Actually run the numbers. A deluxe at 25 percent off can end up closer to a moderate at 20 percent than anybody expects, especially in the spring window. Do not assume value is automatically cheapest.
Art of Animation is in two tiers. Family Suites get 20 percent. Standard Rooms get 15. Same resort, different deal. Check what you are pricing.
Compare it against a package. This is room-only, so tickets are untouched. Disney also released savings on room and ticket packages, and Disney Visa Cardmembers have their own separate offer. Depending on trip length and ticket needs, a package might beat the flashier headline number.
