Disney Reveals Replacement for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure

This week, Disneyland Paris Resort revealed a replacement for some of the original landscaping outside Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, an attraction in the Worlds of Pixar area at Disney Adventure World. Let's take a look.

Plenty of Walt Disney World Resort guests think of Remy's Ratatouille Adventure as the star of the France World Showcase Pavilion at EPCOT. The trackless 3-D ride actually began in 2014 at Disneyland Paris Resort, in the park now called Disney Adventure World, formerly Walt Disney Studios Park.

The Paris ride reopened in March after an extensive, long-overdue interior refurbishment. With the inside finished, attention has moved outdoors to the plaza in front of the Worlds of Pixar attraction.

On October 21, X user @DLPReport posted photos showing that some of the trees in the plaza are being replaced after 12 years. The caption read:

🌱 After 12 years, some of the Place de Rémy trees are being replaced:

Remy's Ratatouille Adventure continues to operate normally during the work. Since the lengthy closure ended earlier this year, Disneyland Paris Resort hasn't announced plans for another refurbishment of the ride.

At EPCOT, Walt Disney Imagineers recently changed the France World Showcase Pavilion attraction from 3-D to 2-D. They removed the glasses that Walt Disney World Resort guests used to wear and installed complementary physical set props to fill the gap.

The tree work arrives during a busy stretch for Disneyland Paris Resort. In addition to scheduled refurbishments of attractions and restaurants, the European Disney park recently put up plywood barriers and construction equipment for unexplained maintenance projects throughout Adventureland and Fantasyland.
