A classic Fantasyland dark ride is off limits for about two weeks at Disneyland Park (Paris). Les Voyages de Pinocchio, the European Disney park‘s take on Pinocchio's Daring Journey, has closed for refurbishment, and Disneyland Paris Resort expects it to return in mid-November.
The Pinocchio (1940) Ride Closure

Sunday, November 1, was the last day Disney Park guests could ride Les Voyages de Pinocchio. As of Monday, November 2, the attraction is closed, and the resort's website lists Friday, November 13, 2026, as the closure's end date. The ride opened alongside Disneyland Park (Paris) on April 12, 1992. Its counterparts debuted at Disneyland Resort in California and Tokyo Disney Resort in 1983.
What Guests Will See

Visitors walking through Fantasyland will find bright blue and purple wooden walls surrounding the attraction facade. On Monday, X (formerly known as Twitter) user @DLPReport posted photos of the blocked-off building and a closed kiosk nearby, writing:

Disneyland Paris Resort hasn't said much about the project, other than confirming it is a refurbishment. Because the shutdown is expected to last less than two weeks, major guest-facing changes seem unlikely. General maintenance and touch-ups to the Pinocchio (1940)-inspired dark ride are the more probable focus.
Other Versions Remain Open

The Pinocchio's Daring Journey attractions at Disneyland Park in Anaheim and at Tokyo Disneyland are still operating. Neither destination has announced a maintenance closure for its version of the ride, so fans looking to experience the story in the United States or Japan can continue to do so.
Guests visiting Disneyland Park (Paris) in early November should plan around the closure and check the European vacation destination's app or website for updates before heading into Fantasyland.
