The scaffolding has been removed from the bridge to Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Park (Paris), and the finished structure is finally visible. The walkway itself is still closed to European Disney Park guests, but a reopening appears to be only days away.
A Restoration That Ran Long

The bridge closed in May for restoration, with plywood walls and scaffolding surrounding the pink landmark. Disneyland Paris Resort later added a fabric scrim featuring an image of the castle to soften the effect in guests' vacation photos.
The resort first promised the bridge would reopen in “late September 2026.” That date passed with the barriers still in place. On October 12, the European Disney park shared its first look at the refurbished structure.
What Was Rebuilt

Disney cast members rebuilt the structure supporting the bridge's decorative elements and replaced both the drawbridge deck and the wooden balustrade posts. The arch beneath the bridge was formed from 2,735 individual granite blocks. The original stamped concrete gave way to waterproof granite paving, which the resort says looks better and is easier to maintain.
A new compass rose made of natural stone and brass now accents the bridge. Blue and red sections are joined by a green arc, and the colors and motifs are inspired by the three fairies from Sleeping Beauty (1959): Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather. A brass medallion decorated with Princess Aurora's crown sits at the center.

When It Could Open

The bridge is expected to reopen in the coming days, ahead of the Disney Enchanted Christmas festivities that begin on November 7. In a follow-up post, @DLPReport added:
