17. Surprises in the Outpost
Between the China and Germany pavilions in the World Showcase you’ll find the Outpost, an African-themed area with some fun shopping and a refreshment stand. But don’t think that’s all there is to it! Do a little exploring and open a few of the crates – you might find some fun surprises! Also, if you visit the Outpost in the mid afternoon you might get to watch the drawbridge go up as the Illuminations fireworks barges are brought into the World Showcase Lagoon.
