A Guide to Walt Disney World’s Moderate Resorts

1. The Cabins at Fort Wilderness Campgrounds

This resort located inside of a resort can be a fun way to spend time at Disney World.  The Cabins at Fort Wilderness are spread throughout the campgrounds, with some located near Bay Lake and other located near the front of the resort.  Guests can stay in well appointed cabins with room for six, as well as a small kitchenette and a porch.  Staying here isn’t exactly roughing it, but you can still take advantage of all of the other amenities at Fort Wilderness — Trail’s End, the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue, Mickey’s Backyard BBQ, and more!  The price tag on the cabins may seem high, but once you realize how many people can fit in the cabin, as well as how close to the Magic Kingdom you are, this resort becomes a great selection!

Depending on what kind of vacation you intend on having when you visit Walt Disney World, any of these resorts could be the right selection for you.  What is your favorite moderate resort?
