Universal Studios has built its modern theme park strategy around some of the biggest entertainment franchises in the world, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles could potentially become the latest major property to join the lineup.
While Universal has yet to announce any plans involving the heroes in a half-shell, recent moves from Paramount suggest that TMNT is entering a major new phase — one that could eventually include a theme park attraction.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise has already expanded far beyond its original comic book roots, becoming a global brand across animation, movies, video games, and merchandise.
However, despite the franchise's popularity, TMNT has never had a major permanent theme park attraction.
The closest the Turtles have come was during their appearances at Disney World's then-Disney-MGM Studios between 1990 and 1995, when guests could meet the characters through street entertainment experiences during the height of “Turtle-mania.”
Now, Paramount appears to be investing heavily in new TMNT experiences.

Are We Getting a Major TMNT Attraction?
The studio recently opened the franchise's first-ever themed pizzeria in Los Angeles, with further locations planned for Monterrey, Mexico, and São Paulo.
Paramount has also announced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Live on Stage!, a new 2027 production celebrating the 40th anniversary of the original 1987 animated series.
It's no stretch of the imagination to think a theme park partnership could eventually follow.
Universal Studios would make sense as a potential destination, as the company has increasingly focused on bringing popular entertainment brands into its parks, with Nintendo and DreamWorks becoming major parts of its global strategy.

That approach could create an opportunity for TMNT, particularly with the upcoming Universal United Kingdom Resort in Bedfordshire. The resort, which is scheduled to open in 2031, has not yet revealed its complete lineup of attractions or themed lands.
Although there's no evidence that Universal and Paramount are discussing a TMNT attraction, the franchise would arguably fit alongside the type of properties Universal has embraced in recent years.
A dark ride or immersive land based around the 1987 cartoon series could give fans the chance to experience the world of Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo like never before.
For now, a Universal Studios TMNT attraction remains purely speculative — but Paramount's latest moves suggest the franchise is ready for a much bigger future.
