Magic Kingdom Deluxe Resorts offer guests unparalleled luxury, comfort and the stellar service we've come to expect from Disney. From the old world charm of the Grand Floridian to the relaxing atmosphere and Hawaiian theming of the Polynesian, these fine hotels will wow you from the first moment you step inside. In addition to the well-appointed guest rooms, you'll enjoy a variety of dining options, entertainment and activities which will keep each member of your family happily engaged! Here's an overview of Disney's Deluxe Resorts:
4. The Contemporary Resort
The Contemporary is perhaps best known for its iconic "A-frame" tower, which both the resort and park monorail lines actually travel through as they make their way around the Seven Seas Lagoon. For guests actually staying in the A-frame, this takes on a whole new significance as they first walk out of their room each day and get to see a monorail train glide right through the lobby. How cool is that?
However, that's not all there is to enjoy at the Contemporary. For instance, it's home to restaurants like California Grill, Chef Mickey's, The Wave, and Contempo Cafe. It's also a good place to stay if you're the type who appreciates rooms with no-nonsense, "real-world" theming rather than everything around you screaming, "DISNEY!"
As a bonus, if you don't feel like taking the monorail, the Contemporary is within walking distance to Magic Kingdom. If the weather's right, take a quick stroll right over there!
