1. The Wilderness Lodge
Inspired by the grandeur and adventure of America's national park lodges in the Pacific Northwest during the turn of the 20th century, the design of Wilderness Lodge has a gorgeously rustic appeal. Trust us, your jaw will drop as you enter the main lobby, especially if you're visiting around the holiday season when a giant Christmas tree towers over the room and crackling fireplaces abound.
While the ambiance is king here, Wilderness Lodge is otherwise a sort of "in-between" resort option, falling somewhere between Disney World's Moderate resorts and the three Deluxe resorts listed above in terms of room pricing and convenience. If you can't quite afford to stay in, say, the Grand Floridian or the Contemporary, then Wilderness Lodge makes a great alternative.
The only quibble we have is that the bus and boat transportation to and from Magic Kingdom can sometimes delay you from reaching either destination in time for any reservations and/or FastPasses you've made.
There you have it — Magic Kingdom's four Deluxe resort options. Whichever one you decide to stay at, you're sure to have a grand time during your visit and you'll go home feeling pampered in true Disney fashion.
Have you stayed at all four of these resorts? Which one is your personal favorite?
