An Overview of Quick Service Dining at the Magic Kingdom

waffle Magic Kingdom

Disney World offers a variety of dining options to guests.  From grabbing a bucket of popcorn from a snack cart to a multi-course table service meal, guests can choose tailor what kind of experience they want.  Given the variety of options available to guests both inside the theme parks, as well as at the resorts, it will be helpful to have an overview of where the various quick service dining locations are, what guests can expect to find on the menu, and whether the restaurant utilizes mobile ordering.  We consider quick service dining to be restaurants where you place your order and are able to take your food to seating located inside the restaurant. Here are your options at the Magic Kingdom!

1. Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant (seasonal)

Located near the entrance to Tomorrowland walking from Main Street, U.S.A.  Guests are able to dine here only during select times of the year when crowd levels are high.  This is also the home of the dessert parties held at the Magic Kingdom for select events. When operational, guests find traditional theme park options to for their meals — pizza, a variety of burgers, salads, and chicken strips.  Guests lucky enough to be able to dine here will enjoy the ability to dine outside, but covered in the shade looking out over the Hub with views of Cinderella Castle in the background!

2. Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe

A favorite for fans of Frontierland, Pecos Bill is an affordable selection with a variety of delicious options! Guests are able to pre-order their food with Mobile Order to avoid having to wait in a long line (and focus on grabbing a seat)!  On the menu, guests will find Mexican-inspired dishes to mesh with the theme of Frontierland. Choose between a fajita platter, various Southwest salads, nachos, burgers, as well as rice bowls! Regardless of the entrée you choose, make sure to visit the Fixings Bar to add your own personal touch to your meal.  You may also want to save room for dessert as Pecos Bill serves up some delicious churros!

3. Sleepy Hollow Refreshments

A favorite for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just a snack, Sleepy Hollow Refreshments offers guests delicious dishes in Liberty Square.  Just of the bridge from the Hub, Sleepy Hollow features a variety of delectable and savory choices — fresh waffles with fruit toppings, funnel cakes, a sweet and spicy waffle sandwich, and an assortment of beverages.  The best choice off of this menu is a fresh fruit waffle sandwich with an amazing chocolate-hazelnut spread! Guests will find seating nearby off a path leading towards Cinderella Castle.
