With the popularity of Disney’s Animal Kingdom growing and more guests flocking to the park for all day fun, Animal Kingdom area resorts and restaurants are on the minds of Disney Fanatics. If you are spending a significant amount of your Disney vacation in Animal Kingdom, there are plenty of nearby dining opportunities that will keep your family satisfied and entertained without the need to travel to the other parks for dining.

1. Table Service

Boma – Animal Kingdom Lodge
Boma is a delicious buffet that serves up an array of American, Mediterranean and African flavors. Located in the lobby of Animal Kingdom Lodge, this buffet is a great dining spot to consider. Boma serves a hearty breakfast and dinner buffet daily tempting guests with traditional American buffet staples and more unique regional foods from around Africa. Seasoned Disney dining fans will enjoy the variety of this resort buffet and will delight in exploring the resort before or after the meal.

Toledo- Tapas, Steak & Seafood – Coronado Springs Resort
You cannot go wrong dining at a Spanish Steakhouse. Toledo is a beautiful table service dining experience that transport guests to Spain with a rooftop dining experience amongst gorgeous olive trees and twinkling lights. Experience your meal by watching the chefs in the open kitchen prepare hearty tapas and stunning charcuterie boards. The menu is expansive with seafood, steak and small plate options.

Rainforest Café – Animal Kingdom, Park Entrance
Just inside the Animal Kingdom you will find the largest Rainforest Café Restaurant in the world. This eatery is unmatched in jungle theming. Animatronic gorillas and elephants move and interact while tropical fish in aquariums swim by tables and pop-up rain showers erupt every half hour. The savory and delicious bar and grill style food offer entrees like fajitas, grilled chicken, steak, coconut shrimp and an array of other delicious options. My family enjoys sharing an array of entrees and appetizers to taste a little of everything on the menu.

2. Coffee and Sweet Eats

Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery – Animal Kingdom, Africa
This quick coffee stop is the perfect way to fuel up for an early morning in the park. Caffeinate and get your sugar fix by snagging a coffee along with one of the delicious baked goods served up at this bakery. My personal favorite are the jungle animal sugar cookies that are frosted to perfection and pair perfectly with a strong coffee. Return later in the day to enjoy a light lunch of sandwiches a delicious curry dish as you break from the heat and prepare for the second part of your day exploring the park.
