‘Avengers’ Disappear From Disney California Adventure

Disneyland Resort has officially announced the end of its “Avengers Assemble!” stunt show in Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park. This high-energy live show, which debuted in June 2021, marked one of the first major entertainment offerings to debut at the park post-pandemic.

For over three years, guests had the opportunity to witness Marvel superheroes like Black Panther and Captain America team up with Black Widow to defend Avengers Campus from Taskmaster and his two cronies, who were attempting to steal important cargo. The show was a fan-favorite for Marvel fans, and it even saw a seasonal update during the 2021 holiday season. The seasonal version of the show starred Hawkeye and Kate Bishop and was timed to coincide with the Disney+ premiere of the Hawkeye limited series.

Sadly, Disney Parks fans will soon have to say goodbye to the action-packed show. The park did not provide any details about a potential replacement for the show, leaving fans wondering what might come next.

The “Avengers Assemble!” stunt show isn’t the only entertainment cut in recent months. Disneyland Resort has been making some significant cuts across its entertainment offerings, and Avengers Campus has felt the impact. Several other Marvel-related shows and performances have also been terminated, including “Doctor Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts” and “Story Time with Deadpool Holiday Special.”,

Disneyland Resort has also removed live performers from The Amazing Spider-Man stuntronic show and cut performances for “Warriors of Wakanda: The Disciplines of the Dora Milaje” and “Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance Off!”.
