Pickle Corn Dogs Are Coming to Disney World!

One of the things that makes a Disney Park a great place to visit is all the great dining options that are available. Disney isn’t just pizza and hamburgers, there are a ton of unique snacks, as well as counter service options and great table service meals. Many of the Resorts even have a snack that they are known for, which sets them apart from the others. At Disneyland Resort, thousands of Guests line up daily to get their hands on specialty churros and fresh-made corn dogs. Corn dogs are one of the most popular meals at the Resort.

But what is a Guest to do if they are visiting Disneyland Resort, but don’t want to go into the Parks to get a corn dog? Well, that’s where Blue Ribbon Corn Dog comes in. The snack stand is located across from the LEGO Store in the Downtown Disney District and serves up a variety of delicious corn dogs, including the Pickle Corn Dog. That’s right. A pickle corn dog. Blue Ribbon Corn Dog takes a large dill pickle, hollows it out, and puts a hot dog in it. That is then dipped in corn dog batter, panko bread crumbs, and deep-fried. The pickle corn dog is served with a side of peanut butter.

While it sounds like an incredibly odd combination, Blue Ribbon Corn Dog’s Pickle Corn Dog has been an absolute hit. Guests can’t get enough of the unique concoction. Add to that, Blue Ribbon Corn Dog has several other corn dog options that are just as good. Blue Ribbon Corn Dog has become so popular that they are bringing their corn dog deliciousness to Walt Disney World Resort!

Blue Ribbon Corn Dog shared the exciting news on its Instagram page. The new stand will be located on Disney’s BoardWalk, taking over the spot currently occupied by BoardWalk To Go.

In addition to its pickle corn dogs, Blue Ribbon also made a splash with its absolutely gigantic mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella stick was basically the size of a corn dog, and Guests became obsessed with the cheesy fried goodness. The traditional corn dog and the pickle corn dog are staples of the Blue Ribbon menu, then there are seasonal and specialty corn dogs that are only available for a limited time. 

As of right now, we don’t have an exact date for when Blue Ribbon Corn Dog will open, just that it will be sometime later this year. Disney Fanatic will keep readers updated when an opening date is released.
