10 Best Places to Eat Breakfast At Walt Disney World
10. Ohana (Polynesian Village Resort) Our final entry is also found at the Polynesian and serves up guests their meal family style from a shared skillet – guests can have as much as they desire from choices of sausage, waffles, eggs, and bacon, but the best part to these meal, aside from Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch stopping by, is the fantastically delicious POG juice – a combination of pineapp

10 Best Places to Eat Breakfast At Walt Disney World
1. Olivia’s Café (Old Key West Resort) Olivia’s Café is a quintessential small-town café – it serves a variety of omelets, pancakes, and french toast with an appropriate Key West flair! We love all the meals served at Olivia’s, but breakfast is fantastic. Everything at the restaurant keeps up coming back – it is rarely busy, so we are able to get a table even when we forget to make reservation and

2. Hollywood and Vine (Disney’s Hollywood Studios) Characters from Disney Junior are a part of the buffet at Hollywood and Vine. Since the characters are skewed towards a younger crowd, some of the items on the buffet are designed with kids in mind, so be sure to bring your sweet tooth with you while enjoying breakfast here. We also like the character buffets at all of the parks for breakfast beca

3. Boma (Animal Kingdom Lodge) A hidden gem, this is also a buffet, but with a disntict twist! In addition to the traditional Disney breakfast buffet items like waffles, eggs, bacon, and fruit, guests wishing to sample something a little more daring can find that in choices inspired from Africa! While flavorful, nothing on the menu is overpowering or too spicy, but certainly will be a welcome ch

4. Trail’s End (Fort Wilderness) A new favorite for our list, Trail’s End offers a lot of things we love! First – it is a buffet, so we know we are going to have a great meal because we choose how much we want and specifically what goes on our plates! Second – there aren’t characters. This usually helps control both the crowds (all the times we’ve eaten there, there have been moderate crowds) and

5. Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory (Port Orleans French Quarter) While only a counter service option, we love the Sassagoula Floatworks for one simple reason: BEIGNETS! This delicious fried dough is sweet enough to be a dessert, but will definitely fill you up enough to be called a meal! These treats are offered in addition to the traditional breakfast options you’d find at most restaurants

8. Parades/Fireworks Do NOT, I repeat do NOT miss the Magic Kingdom parades, fireworks and castle projection shows! These will likely be the highlight of your day! Disney excels at these types of events. Plant yourself at least an hour early to reserve the best spots. *Secret tip: Watch the parades from Frontierland-the crowds are much smaller.

9. Shopping Souvenir shopping is a big part of the Disney experience. Shops abound throughout the park. However, plan your shopping for AFTER you’ve done all or most of your touring, or better yet, plan more than one Magic Kingdom day for your trip. *Secret tip: The shops on Main Street USA stay open after official closing.

10. Kiss Goodnight This is a tip most guests are unaware of. About 30-45 minutes after official closing time, there is a very brief “show” from Cinderella Castle. The Castle is drenched in a rainbow of changing colors. It's truly magical to stand there for a few quiet moments as Mickey Mouse wishes you a good evening. It’s Disney’s way of politely asking you to leave the park, LOL!

5. Meals If you are planning to do a quick-service meal, go at off-times, to avoid the crowds. Eat lunch before 11:30 or after 1:30, for example. If you make a reservation for a table-service restaurant, make it for the hot part of the day, or after you’ve toured the park for 3-4 hours. Your family (and your feet) will appreciate it! Consider sharing meals, as portion sizes are quite large.
